Talks4Succes is a free registration-based motivational campaign aimed at students at tertiary institutions across South Africa. A platform that aims to motivate and inspire marginalized young South Africans to achieve.
To differentiate and improve Nedbank brand relevance and appeal.
We conceptualized and created a youth engagement platform that could inspire young people to achieve success.We created the Nedbank Talks4Success platform, a free registration-based experience. The concept was to have successful young entrepreneurs that the youth could connect with – tell their success stories in their words in a live environment. The participants could also do aptitude tests thereby not only getting a serious dose of motivation but also guidance courtesy of Nedbank.
The campaign involved successful and upcoming but relevant youth icons that have come from challenging backgrounds, and have used their failures to achieve success. The campaign was made up of events that took place in 4 cities around the country – Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein and Polokwane.
Each event had 3 speakers from all walks of life, an MC and entertainment. The headline speakers were Katlego Maboe, Thando Thabethe, Clement Maosa and Nomzamo Mbatha. During the events the attendees were encouraged to share their experience on social media, and the campaign trended on twitter for each event.
